From TWO sources this morning:

The highest offer we had in the summer for Holt was £900K and it wasn't from West Ham.

Also McNally wanted to sell when the transfer request came in but CH wanted to keep him.
Probably bollocks as most rumours are, but was from two sources one of which was from a guy who is an aquaintence of a certain TV presenter and City fan with connections to the club.

:undecided:

If true, that is an insult!!

Spring Chicken he ain't, but after last years performance, his value should have been increased to 4 million minimum.

Holt hits out at Hodgson's selection policy: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19830762

I'm a bit torn on this. On the one hand I would rather he kept out of it and just got on with playing. On the other I tend to agree with what he says. Although this article is designed as a bit of s*** stirring as the quotes are rather selective for example using the word "ridiculous" as a one word quote is somewhat misleading without the context it was part of.

Holty's absolutely right, and he is right to say it. He's not just speaking for himself but for every player who gets to the top despite not having gone through the FA hoops of age-group representative selection -- under-18s, under-19s, under-21s -- and having any spark he has knocked out of him by Stuart Pearce. The selection of Butland for Euro 2012 and subsequent matches shows how it works. JR and FF have only got a look in because every "favoured" keeper other than Hart has turned his back on the England team. I have no time for players who do that, but at least in this case it has given a chance to two good keepers who would otherwise not have got a look in. <ok>
