    That was rather the thrust of my post earlier in the season Grant Holt-English Hero.He looks like a throwback from the early 20th century and part of the charm of the man IMHO.I have a photo of my Grandad taken in 1916 in his uniform as a machine gunner in the trenches and that kind of reminds me of GH.

    Holt will never be as good as Matt Le Tiss was or Bale is.

    Different type of player Adam,me old benanoe.Put Holt in the box surrounded by five defenders as he was at Swansea last week,with a high ball coming in and no solvent bookie is going to give you 5/1 against him.I rated and liked Matt le T but most of his goals were 30yard crackers.

    Grant Holt decided to effectively end his football career on 18/05/12. (Next season he will either be in a sulk at Carrow Road or on the bench/ settee with a larger club).

    (Probably an over reaction, but I'm so pissed off coming home to hear that he has handed in a transfer request).
