Chris Ramsey's reputation is on line, this could well be his only big chance in management. To think he is willing to piss it away on poor players from which he knows from the past is stupid. Hall is not a starter, not yet anyway. Neither is Gobern. There is more players incoming, but that might not be until late August or early September when the loan window opens. But these signings help make up the numbers for now.
 
Surely with this bloke and most of the others we are just doing what Les said we would do - pick up players on the cheap and hope to improve them, while trying to get some youngsters good enough. Obviously the highly unsuccessful days of 'proven experience' players are gone, the money isn't there any more thank goodness. A two year contract shows that the faith in Hall may not be too great.

Beggars can't be choosers.f we spend £10m on Gayle it will just show everything is still buggered up. I'm pretty confident it won't happen.

Could we not 'make up the numbers' from within? It doesn't say much for our homegrown players.
 
He can head.he can tackle.he can use a foot.
I think I know what's gone wrong at the back recently
We kept signing new fashioned defenders

As palace are alover Austin what would u say on a gayle Delaney swap and a couple mil to go down the pub with ?
