That first half at White Hart Lane is the best we have played as long as I can remember. Agree, really thought we'd kick on from there. Hence the disappointment multiplied from there on in.

Granero never seemed to me like one who didn't care. Always appreciated his down to earth attitude, a welcomed break from most footballers.
 
I like Granero and would welcome him back. His first season with us seemed to unsettle him, the pace and general rough & tumble was hard for him to adjust to. The Spurs and WBA game showed what he could do. For me he was v similar to Parejo; too soon to English football but full of talent and hopefully wiser and more influential a second time around.

Granero, Remy and MBia back for me please. Adel for the umpteenth time around I'm not so sure. Cesar if Green goes.

Completely agree. The best I have ever seen Rangers play was that first half against Spurs. Him and Faurlin were amazing.

Shame they’re both coming back from serious injury.

Granero never showed a lack of heart in the premiership.

Takes time for a player coming from abroad to adjust to the tyle and tempo. Look at Ozil at Arsenal and Kerry Dixon called Drogba the worsy striker that Chelsea have ever had at the end of his first season.

The only thing I worry is that the latest injury has held progress back but having said that because of his injury no one will take him considering his wages. So we are stuck with him and that isn’t so bad considering this is a player Mourinho used in El Classico’s and a Champions League semi finals

But because I like him he is bound to fail again. If he does play and play poorly, my only plea is that we don't have dozens of posts with the 'lightweight' cliche littering the board. Original criticism required, or at least use of the Thesaurus.

I'd forgotten all about Diakite. Perhaps deliberately.
 
Too slow on the ball,no pace and seemed like he needed 5 mins to pass the ball!. All this talk of getting MBia,Granero and Taiwo back is making me depressed. And we can do better.
 
I wouldn't want him back. He's the equivalent of a glory supporting fan, pissing off when we go down...and begging to leech off QPR's success once we're back in the PL again.
Why would we rehabilitate him on our time? He hasn't played 1st team football for ages. If he's serious about wanting to stay in England with us, he'll be happy to be loaned to Rotherham for a bit whilst he gets match fitness
 
The week before the Tottenham game Granero & Faurlin were superb in the draw with C*****a.

For two weeks it looked like a marriage made in heaven. Then came the divorce!

Chelsea at home too, he was superb! I'd give him a go again!
 
Regardless of why they were shipped out at the end of last season, all the loanees should be jettisoned. They are not part of this team now and others have put us back in the Premier League. If we can get decent money for most of them that can pay for their replacements who may show more loyalty and stomach for a battle to keep us up...
 
No doubt he can be classy, but didn't seem to have the desire to keep trying when things got tough - now needs us so making the right noises (as they all do though it generally means nothing anymore) - bit too little too late for me, happy to be proved wrong but don't think it'll happen...

Not for me....Reminds me of Hughes and mercinaries....And what was it he used to harp on about " the project ".....oh and he was mostly rubbish...
