I've always liked him, and we had that fleeting hour at White Hart Lane where he and Faurlin totally bossed Spurs. I truly believed we were going to kick on, but we lost that game and the debacle at home to West Ham quickly followed.
That first half at White Hart Lane is the best we have played as long as I can remember. Agree, really thought we'd kick on from there. Hence the disappointment multiplied from there on in.
Granero never seemed to me like one who didn't care. Always appreciated his down to earth attitude, a welcomed break from most footballers.
