Ahh the old Flyer is back at last....!
Remind me of what league they are in again?
How many times we beat them in the prem
How they did in the league cup compared to us?
How bad a player Xavi is & how many champions medals he has...
Where there style of football has got them compared to ours?
How there manger has fared in the TOP league as compared to ours?
    ETC.........

Welcome back mate.....possibly the most ridiculous statement you've made this year!

As for Granero. he's going to a TEAM that can all pass to each other and has a manager that has more than Plan A. I think he may well suprise a few.
definately didnt work for us, but, is that because of our team or because of him. Only time will tell <ok>

Heh, shows you how much notice I take of that. Still an NPC >>> tinpot cup that the even we put put reserve sides for.

Of course Id change my mind if they win in Europe this season or win the league or FA Cup.

you totally missed the point about xavi, I wasnt dissing him, but Swansea midfielders and especially Britton who literally never passes forward.
We dominated them for 2 seasons (which was when they played their overly boring tippy tappy football) and they dominated us last season.

Id take the former over the latter. Seems like people here didnt even watch the championship season.

Fair enough mate, thats your choice. Personally I'd take thier position over ours based on last season. Which means we'd still be in the Prem and they would be down.<ok>

We have a chance at winning the league this season. Since we dont do cups, the best we can hope for is mid table year in year out if we were in the PL. Notice how there were no tears at us going down, hardly anyone was upset on here either.

Ask any fan what season they enjoyed out of the last 3 and its pretty obvious which would win.

That'll be the Liverpool team that completely dominated the English League and won it in 1979–80, 1981–82, 1982–83, 1983–84, 1985–86, 1987–88, 1989–90; the European Cup in 1981 and 1984 and the League Cup in 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1984..........to name just a few.

That Liverpool way they had to change the rules for because it got so boring. Do you get excited seeing a team go one up and then spend the rest of the game rolling it to the fb and then back to the keeper?

I even forgot about this too. "Also, goalkeepers would frequently drop the ball and dribble it around, only to pick it up again once opponents came closer to put them under pressure, a typical time-stalling technique. Liverpool's Bruce Grobbelaar was one of the most well known exponents of this practice. Therefore, another rule was introduced at the same time as the back-pass rule, with the same intentions."

That Liverpool team contained some fantastic players and were a joy to watch a lot of the time. They also knew how to win ugly.

I have tried hard to educate you lads ... I try ... I try ... Swansea play the new football and are beautiful doing it ... Yes we had them 3-0 at home which i loved ... even Barton played well that night ... BUT they have continued to grow whereas we have not.

    Lesson 42 repeat after me:

The other side can not score if they haven't got the ball ... Ponder regardless if we like it or not it will be here to stay as a model.

Swansea City on their day now can beat anyone in English Football and I predict they will do well in Europe also ... They have system that the right players can mesh into Granero is clearly one of them ... sorry i can't see them struggle next year only get stronger .. I love their football as some on here will know. I do however think Michu will find his second season hard ... he rode his luck at the end ..they are managed by a real talent in Landrup and will do well to keep him for more than another year ... he will manage Barca next

The other team cant score if you have the ball, you also cant score if you have the ball in your own half, thats what makes for boring football.

They arent boring now that Rodgers has gone. Watching a Rodgers team was about as exciting as watching one of those fixed WC games where both teams need a draw to get through.
