Infrastructure is being developed hence the buying of land and the plans that show a training centre to rival the best. The active stadium developments and plans of a larger stadium, sponsorship that is immense including our training kit being sponsored, only other team in PL that has that is Man Utd. The development of the Asia markets and marketing of the club on a grand scale. So really that argument is codswallop.
Again, your not seeing it. Next year seems to crop up a lot, by the noises some of you are making, you firmly believe you're a big club now. It's like you're trying to out-chelsea chelsea.
Wenger: we won't raise pay levels for Walcott now that's big club talk QPR could buy him and put him on the bench
Arsenal are on the slide. Slipping down the top 6, losing star players and signing nearly men Walcott will be the next one off Arseshavings & bendtner want out Rosicky a sick note Shame really but time waits for no man. You'll be like those Liverpool & massive Leeds fans regaling us of glories past
Considering we are as you say a small club ( I dont think there is such a thing in the PL) it is going to take a year or two to build and construct these things it is not football manager where it happens in minutes. If fans/supporters are bigging a club that has just signed one of the worlds best keepers and a young class player then yes they should do so, if it was another team it would be the same of their supporters. We have had enough bad times to relish these good times and tbh I dont care what other fans say about the club I have supported for 30 years as it will not change my opinion of my team. If it goes tits up so be it but I will enjoy the ride....
OK, using Flyers checklist. We have brilliant training facilities right now, not next year, or the year after We have an extensive scouting network that uncovers gems for other teams to sign from under our noses Thoroughly incompetent behind the scenes personnel (OK, you beat us there, even someone like Brentford would beat Ivan Gazidis) We have a large portion of the asian market, mostly malaysia (the area you're trying to gain, as TF is malaysian) We have a state of the art 60k seat stadium that exists now, and the debts will be paid off next season. Shrinking club? I don't think so.
6 weeks ago you wouldn't have had use in your thoughts for more than a second. Now you seem to be more interested in us and our forum than your own. Let's not forget who was londons top team when the premiership 1st kicked off. Nothing to say in a few years we can't be back up there again, battling with you, spurs and Chelsea for that honour. Get over it and jog on back to your own board. You have nothing to offer us worth reading if you're going to spend your time trying to put us down.....
And with all that have won jack sh!t and have been selling off your best players. It's a slide. A slow one, but a slide.
I heard on BBC radio (so it must be true) that they were looking for a venue for the blind football in the para-olympics. The Emirates was considered due to the requirement for absolute silence so the blind players can hear the ball. 3 points from you last season - outplayed at just about every position on the pitch and looking forward to more points off you this season too. Big club, small club whatever. It is points that count and last season we equalled you. Jog on pal.
Quite frankly Kyle, you will not understand what we've been through for the last 15/16 years as you're an Arsenal fan, simply put it's been hell and back. Now we're at the big banquet table of P/L mate and we're here and we're gonna enjoy it!
I ****ing hate Arsenal!! You're on the slide and we're on the up. It will take time, but you simply don't like it. Piss off!!
I f***king hate arsenal, years of grief from them whilst at a North West London school, most of them glory grabbers during wengers less lean years I for one am happy for their last 7 years of success. That is all
You have a nice stadium that has been poorly designed and has a very poor atmosphere .... I go sometimes with my mates and one thing you are not mentioning Gooners are not happy You built your club tell me why we can't after all over history at the top level of English football QPR have been a top London club It will be hard to accept we understand that but it's 2012 we will succeed and afterall we have the Arsenal model on how not to do things... You have become very unfashionable and stale how did that happen?
