And the winner is
Escaria Ten ( no15)

Why Beth, you have no knowledge of the sport of gentlemen!

Colours are blue and white Hoops

The name contains the "sacred" 10.

And race number 15 ( Sam Fields number ..player of the season)

Price currently 14-1

And didn’t Hughes pay 50m quid for a ball-boy called Escaria from Santos’ Kindergarten XI on the say-so of Joorabchian? The circle is complete.

I backed Escaria Ten each way Beth. Mainly because of the trainer Gordon Elliott.

I hope you haven't just given it the kiss of death.

Enjoy the race.

I am so sorry Fingly. I apologise.

I was at a gig a few weeks back...met a friend, a Forest supporter and a betting man. He asked me about Luton v QPR. I told him we were pretty bad, bad form, no attack. Can see us getting anything against a high flying luton team that hadn't lost at home since November.

He put a lot on a home win...and the rest is ( and I am) history

An amateur Waley-Cohen on a 50/1 shot called on a horse called Noble Yeats.

It was the riders last ever race...and as an amateur, he won't get a penny.
Escaria Ten came 9th..which obviously shows it did better than expected!

I don’t think he will miss not getting the percentage of the winnings Beth.

Just pick a horse. Forget the form or what the milkman told you because his cousin’s mate’s girlfriend once shagged Rachael Blackmore’s brother.

But if you do pick a horse at least back it on Betfair where you’ll get far better odds.

I have to back I Am Maximus because my grandson's name is Max. My strong fancy is Corach Rambler, though. I backed it at Cheltenham and it ran a great race, finishing strongly. Should win.

I've backed meetingofthewaters. Willie Mullins/J.P. McManus. It is about 10 or 12 to one.
