"There was a very small amount of rain early today (0.2 millimetres) but it has been dry since, with the sun coming out from late morning, so another change of the going descriptions is likely later on this afternoon."

    Good to hear.

Anyone seen the updated prices on offer ?
Paddy Power have failed to be best or joint best price on any of the 40 declared runners.
Astonishing from a bookmaker who have proven themselves to offer value repeatedly....

The first time Ruby Walsh rode and won in the National was on Papillon in 2000, He was number 13 for the National trained by Ted Walsh. This year its Ruby's sisters first ride in the National on Seabass also numbered 13 for the National and trained by Ted Walsh...

Is history about to repeat itself?

In all fairness I don't think Seabass would get the trip in His horsebox but its an intresting little fact
