I think you could do better than Ole tbh like, but it’s a results business and you’re 2nd in the league & favourites to win the EL. So it ain’t that bad tbf.

It is when you watch it for 90 mins <laugh>

Yeh can't argue with that, it's a crazy season and we seem to be getting the results when others aren't.

    2nd Leg later today.

Enforced back 4 due to suspensions...

    AWB ---- Lindelof--- Tuanzebe---Telles

At home and holding a 2-0 lead this really shouldn't be a problem.

I’m always nervous whenever I read something like that and we’re playing at home. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Yeh but we've changed the backing boards to black at OT so all will be ok now <diva>

Our manager is closer to Fergie than we could ever have imagined ;)

    TBF, this is won, surely.

Keep everyone else fresh for the league. This game is ideal for Matic.

True, just thought maybe give some of the other youngsters a try, Dialo, Williams, Elanga. Even De Beek.

Forgot all about van de Beek tbh!

Yeah, he could get a game.

Not sure it's time to chuck too many youngsters at this, maybe once we get a goal or two.

I look at Cavani and think he'd probably enjoy playing to an Old Trafford crowd!

Would like to see him still with us next season. Irrespective of whether we go big on a centre forward.

Our young strikers can definitely learn from him.

Did Robbie Savage just then say more or less the same?

FFS, can't been to be sharing an opinion. (even if it is obvious!)

Even at 32, the vision, creativity and movement of Mata is far ahead of some of our other midfielders.

He's so old skool, I just miss that type of player in our side.

Could and should have scored at least 4 but still a decent performance with 5 changes from the off.

Observations.... Pogba, Bruno and Cavani are definitely on the same wave length and enjoy playing together. Axle is good enough to be starting and has been taking lessons off Bissaka at 1 on 1 defending, de Gea has upped his game now he is second choice, Telles is not Shaw, Greenwood has lost a lot of his pace since he gained muscle, James is seriously rapid.

Fred is seriously under rated by some on here :emoticon-0100-smile

Vision, creativity and movement never leave a good pro, unfortunately legs do.

Surprisingly I was thinking the same about Greenwood watching him today.

In a way I'm glad that Telles is not Shaw, it means we actually have to move the ball forward through other areas of the pitch.

Fred was by far the ****test player on the pitch. And I include the whole of the Granada team and the ref. If he played for West Brom, fat Sam would put him on the bench. He has no redeeming qualities at all. None. And that's not underrating him, I would even say that's a compliment.
