Gift for Merc from Red Bull there. Didn't pit Perez when they could have jumped Lewis and then they very helpfully got Gasly out of the way.
Yes. I'm confused by this Perez strategy. At this rate Hamilton will have a pit stop in hand to take fastest lap.
Guess now we'll see if Perez can catch back up. But i cant image being 9 seconds back on slightly newer hards was a better idea than trying to capitalise on Lewis getting held up behind Leclerc.
They just need to fit a TV screen in Max's cockpit so he can watch the race while he's cruising around.
Red bull there a 1-2 away here. They needed to pit perez early and then pressurize hamilton but they left it and left it to let hamilton have it and then left him.out which is a direct opposite situation to last race. The question now is can hamilton hold him off in the last laps. Given the supposed negligible degradation on these tyres this will not be easy. Into 2 second and then perez starts sticking
With 20 laps left could they bring Hamilton in and out back on the mediums as it doesn’t look like his hard tyres will be good enough to hold Perez off?
Not worth it for 1 point as you throw away more than that finishing 3rd. I would wait for perez to get within 2 seconds and then see if he can close up or the turbulent air ends the charge.
Perez wont pass. The circuit is terrible for racing with all the dirty air (sadly given the passion of the fans) RBR threw away the 1-2 in the stops.
Right now brazil is huge for the championship. The sprint race plus the main race are mists for hamilton now. 20 point gaps as we speak and will only get worse
