All of you giving me bad Karma over this. Answer this then... Why bring in a striker, in a crucial season for us, who needs to be given time to get up to speed? TIME is exactly what we don't have in this season. Surely we could have just given Prozzy more time if we're going to base everything on hope and past season numbers. How much time do we give him? It's all good playing the good samaritan and supporting a newcomer but it's gut-wrenching to see us being donkeys again giving players time we can't spare only to find out we should have acted sooner. (Mclean, Prozzy, Ghilas, Altidore all fit that scenario) It will be interesting to see what Bruce does. Let's see if I'm such a clueless **** when Bruce switches back to Sagbo.
I don't think it is about time with Graham. I think he's our best option right now. and that's why he's playing. He holds the ball up and brings others into play without nutting anyone.
Amazing how the views vary. I have not seen him hold a ball apart from the one time he received in the box and instead of turning and shooting, which he should have done, he laid it off on the wing to elmo whose shot got blocked. When you're slow as a striker you have to bring something else to the plate. Strength like carlton cole, height like crouch, or technique like Dzeko. I have seen nothing. I can't see where goals are gonna come from with him because I don't think we play like Swansea and I don't think he's got the attributes to create something on his own like Aluko could.
I expect him to score at some point and he could go on a run but for that to happen I think we'll have to change our service to him or maybe he's just out of shape.
Keep your head up Danny as the goals will come. Better players than you have been missing sitters the past week or so. Graham just needs to get that first one. I read this week that DQPR striker Charlie Austin is struggling to find his goal scoring touch. He got his first league goal last saturday.
