He's not on a proper contract, so I doubt he'd be available for the first team. The u21 games are friendly matches, so I presume special dispensation can be made. It can't be bad for the kids though to have a top professional like Murty around. Fair play to him if he wants to fully recover from his injuries before moving into coaching.

He told me last year he's helping Doddsy out with the youth team whilst gaining his coaching badges and regaining some sort of fitness.
