gradel offered to sunderland

Wouldnt mind seeing Gradel having a run up front with Paynter with our injury list. He looked sharp directly in front of goal last season & we could give Sam a chance to nail down a spot on the wing whilst Becchio/Somma are out

 

or Nunez up front with Paynter if Gradel goes?

bucks i'd prefer to play mccormack there seeings he an actual striker, i would sell him for 3 and a half even if he was gonna sign a new contract, but we do have replacements and that money could be very well spent on the team in other positions as well

 

But will the dosh be spent in the right way, it's pretty doubtfull....

 

maybe not, but i think we have better players in the position, it was just gradel's year last year, i think he will end up being dropped through the season if he does stay anyway to nunez or sam

 

I don't think Becchio will be out at the start of the season anyway. If Gradel goes Sam is his natural replacement and was playing jusst as well last year until he got injured. Wasn't that how Gradel got in the team in the first place? Greening's as much a replacement for Gradel as Michael Brown is.

 

If he wants £25,000 a week, then sell the guy. He nearly cost us promotion a year ago, and after 1 good season, if he thinks he's worth this much then he's kidding himself.

I actually thought Sam seemed like a more composed player, cause Gradel often makes the wrong decision and is greedy at times. £3-4million would be a good deal for him. Nunez, Sam, Aidy White and McCormack can all play on the wing. Reinvest the money on a goalkeeper, leftback and centremid.

 

sorry lads but i dont believe any of our wingers will get you 18 goals a season like he can.. No way. What makes gradel special is the lad has so much energy its unreal, he tracks back and defends 2.

Nunez has similar attributes but unproven, sam like watt have more bad games than good. I wouldn't sell him, mainly because we never see any investment back into the team

 

Why not Sunderland they have signed everyone else

also he could've been offered in a package deal to sign one of their players as well, you never know

You must be having a laugh, Ken wouldn't put half of it back into the team not alone all of it, wages too, imagine we find a replacement for a million we are not willing to pay the wages, we have 1.5 million sitting in the pot from the sale of Kasper but nobody wants to join us or stay as we are paying peanuts.
