I wouldn't have thought the WWF would be using DDT, certainly not after the Stockholm Convension! I thought Lafferty was the one who was trying to do allot of fertilizing around the City!?!

    Bah!

SN23 analysis of the difference in pecking order between the manager and the fans is pretty much spot on IMO. Clearly AN sees something in Grab and a lack of something in Hoops. I think Hoops always looks a class act and his conversion rate is comfortably the best of our strikers. He is also the most capable of scoring something a bit special and has an excellent first touch and obvious footballing intelligence which is always good for the fans. Similarly Grabs misses an awful lot of chances and doesn't have a great first touch which frustrates the fans but he has pace and intelligent movement and gets into position to miss the chances but also to get sufficient chances to compensate for his relatively poor finishing. Jerome is a trooper - gives 100% every week and must be a nightmare to play against, quick and strong and full of running. I thought he gave an immense performance, particularly 1st half on Saturday when his work rate and harassment of the Ipswich back four bought us a lot of cheap territory and possession.

I thought it was strange how often we were playing it long up to Jerome in the first half, though he was winning 75% of the aerial battles with Berra and Smith.

I'd go with the same team and Grabban on the bench.

SN, can't see us letting Hooper go if we go back up, his commitment may be a little questionable (I think that's why AN hasn't started him) but he is probably in the top 3 for most naturally gifted players in our team. He plays very intelligently and I genuinely think we have looked our most dangerous this season when he and Wes played together because they read each others games so well.
