The worst thing in the 00's was the grooved tyres. (oh and the stupid qualifying formats) other than that it was quite strong with teams ,innovation ,drivers, sponsors, tracks, fans, suppliers etc.
F1 racing/Autosport have just released their 'global fan survey' results. They match the GPA results fairly consistently actually. Top three teams were Ferrari, McLaren and Williams again. Hamilton snook in as the favourite driver followed by Kimi, with Alonso and Button joint third. F1 racings favourite era was the 90s rather than 2000s I'm sure there will be proper comparisons online soon
