    The wire is the topdog. Watched it all 4 years ago. Its beautiful and so poignant. Funny how the gangsters get more violent and lose their code of ethics. And what do we have right now in the world!

    The Wire is still No. 1 for me too.
    The Sopranos has better individual performances, but as a story, the Wire is flawlessly told from first episode to the last.
