On twitter our so called fans are giving him pelters for today.

he’s a young lad who Eddie will take to mould and I think he’s showing glimpses of what he can offer in the rare game time he gets.

like with Big Joe and Longstaff we just have to trust Eddie to develop them to the level he can see longer term and weave them into the fabric of the team.

I agree he needs some time. What he needs to do is ignore the ****:

Simply he has to perform. That’s the only way he gets this. He is young: and has a reputation so he needs to just grow up and smash it fast.

At this level he needs the right people around him right now.

He did much more than Murphy today
I thought that, and it could have be Murphy making way at half time. Howe was happy with his contribution and said it wasn't a slight on his performance that he was subbed.
Miggy, Bruno and Murphy have all shot off target and yesterday it was Gordon's turn, but he'll learn from it and is getting experience in the team.
He doesn't look exactly the same as he did for Everton. He's clearly in transition under Howe's guidance.

Personally I didn't really want Gordon here but he's doing OK atm and he'll get better with time. Needs a full preseason under Eddie! He's making the right runs and getting chances so just needs a little more confidence and those misses will start going in, he's had 3/4 good opportunities in the last few games and once one goes in he'll start finishing those chances more regularly.

Soo what we’re saying is that as per usual a young player or a new signing (in this case both) who doesn’t hit the ground with 10/10 performances are labelled **** etc those fans need to **** off. Problem is they’ve been “fans” of the club for many years now. Think it’s time other fans start calling them out.

I think if Gordon beefed up a bit and worked on his end product he’d turn into some player.

Noticed Lyanco just barge him off the ball a few times and in Europe they’ll eat him for brekky.
