Goalkeeper Craig Gordon is doubtful for tomorrow's Barclays Premier League game at Everton with a knee injury.
The Scottish international has been struggling with a knock and the coaching staff will make a late check on his fitness.
"We'll see how Craig is later today and make a decision," manager Steve Bruce confirmed.
Other than Gordon, Bruce has no new injury worries but is still without Michael Turner, Fraizer Campbell, David Meyler (all knee) and Danny Welbeck (hamstring).
Jack Colback has recovered from a knock picked up in training and young goalkeeper Ben Wilson is on standby to back up Simon Mignolet if required with third choice Trevor Carson out on loan.
