Fenerbahce midfielder Raul Meireles believes that Luis Suarez should not move to Arsenal this summer.

The Gunners have had two bids rejected for the Uruguayan after the striker gave numerous interviews claiming that he wants to leave Liverpool.

"My advice to Luis would be that he shouldn't leave Liverpool for Arsenal," The Mirror quotes Meireles as saying. "I know he wants to play in the Champions League and if it was Real Madrid or Bayern Munich who came for him then I could understand him wanting to leave.

"In reality, though, Arsenal are not going to win the Champions League or the Premier League so it makes no sense for him.

"My advice would be to have another season at Liverpool and wait for one of the top five clubs in Europe to approach him – because he is good enough for that, for sure."
 
Wenger talks up his massive funds, ships out half his squad, buys no one, shows a complete lack of class with his +£1 bid and then his bid for Cabaye just before kick off. He needs to go.

Just put in a £20m bid for Baines and Fellaini and then retire knowing you ****ed up the window as much as possible.

He does seem to have lost the plot a bit <laugh>

As I said last night, why say you've got £100m to spend if its true? If its not true then why build the fans hopes up only to **** on them yet again? The +£1 issue around Suarez showed a complete lack of intelligence IMO, it told the world that illegal (in football world) communications had taken place yet he still managed to get it so very wrong. The Cabaye bid was a complete joke! He is worth more than £10m, he is not what Arsenal need and Newcastle had a game to play that evening! If he still wants Cabaye then he's made it much harder to get him because he will have pissed Mike Ashley off now!

Newcastle will try to get as much as £20m for midfielder Yohan Cabaye, 27, after rejecting a "derisory" bid of around £12m from Arsenal, who have also made a bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, 20.

Now, if the bid for Pogba is true then that would make more sense. He is a DM which IMO Arsenal need (so do we but he's a ex-manc).

I remember taking the piss and claiming he was a **** manager on their board. To which I was told about his technical abilities and previous glory at Arsenal. No doubt he is a very good tactician, but he can't handle his players/media properly and he just bends over for the board. You can't tell the fans that you will spend money then not. <doh>

The gooners have defended Wenger's actions blindly the idiots. Wenger has just proven his complete lack of class by doing that to Newcastle right before the City game as well as the pathetic bid after making a tool of himself over the pathetic +£1 bid, what a french prick Wenger is, a classless croissant gobbling twat
