We've been linked to Flamini for about three summers, feel free to back track and see how we felt about that potential deal
Arsenal have a great squad, and Ozil is undoubtedly a fantastic player - you won't find any of us denying that. But as a defensive unit the jury is still out, and yes, you have improved since the turn of the year in that sense. You're a top striker light, though Giroud is a good player and I do think he has been given an unfair time by a few Gunners. With Arsenal, Spurs and ourselves all looking stronger this Summer, this season is shaping up very nicely!
I have absolutely no reason to be jealous of Arsenal or any Arsenal player. If you can't accept fair criticism then stay on your own board and wallow in your myopia. What we are telling you is being said about arsenal in every studio and every pub where football is being talked about. Grow Up.
Since comming back from a season out injured, Milans up turn in form coincided with Flamini returning to the team and he was key towards the end of the season for them. Supposedly he left over a disagreement over wages in his new contract offer (it wasn't that he wasn't offered a new contract). He still has a lot to offer. Great player to have in the squad but we are relying on the team as a whole and a midfield duo to keep our defence tight. Since the Bayern game we have done very well being more disciplined as a team, which for me negates the need for an enforcer.
--------Ozil------- Walcott----Cazorla -------Giroud----- Would be better like this but fortunately Wenger will ignore: --------Ozil-------- Cazorla-----Padolski ------Walcott------
We'll see if he's still up to a Premiership season shall we. You can't say that he was truly tested against Spuds!!
Chelsea have rejected appraoches from Arsenal and spurs but accepted terms with a non-rival unnamed EPL club (west ham?) but Ba has said he only wants to go to a CL club. It's still up in the air - no idea how it'll end up.
Ozil, good player. Improve all teams. If I was an Arsenal fan I think I'd rather have competition upfront with Podolski also now being out for 12 weeks and also a CB and Keeper. Can't see Chelsea letting Ba go to Arsenal. Why get rid of a forward to one of your rivals for the season?
We've signed a keeper. And we are still in for a new striker as well since we are waiting to get something done before we let Bendtner leave.
True, but isn't this keeper on a season long loan and only back up? I meant a first choice GK - fair enough if he is first choice then I'll hold my hands up. You mean, you have an offer for Bendtner but don't want to sell him?! Don't wait too long, someone else might not come along
Completely agree RE Bendtner The keeper is in to give Szcz competition so he doesnt get too comfortable and cocky as that is when he messes up. Like Hart he has to be kept on his toes. Most Arsenal fans are happy with him as our number 1, he is a top keeper, but he can have the odd dip in form which is why we had the need for a quality back-up keeper.
We've called it off and unless we manage to find a new striker within the next couple of hours he will be staying..... oh dear lol
