I was thinking of copying this on the Gooners board - but even I couldln't bring myself to be so cruel

Arsenal have bid £10m for Cabaye. Why? Arteta, Wilshere, Rosiky and Ransey are alright. What Arsenal need to do is build their dfense.
They dont need a striker, they have Walcott.
They could sign Begovic and then Williams, Alderweireld or Sahko. But instead they just go for big names and marquee signings.

Supposeddly they have only bid 10 Million for Cabaye why do they keep messing about with these silly offers. I am surprised United havent bid for Cabaye would be a player that would improve there midfield and more likely to get instead of Fabregas.

Cabaye is a solid player albeit a bit injury prone. But I do tend to agree, with everyone fit who does he replace? Don't they usually play a three of Wilshere, Arteta and Cazorla? I don't see him better than any of them. So if I'm going to be honest I wouldn't mind them signing him.
I complained about that post (and another) and then left the thread as I cant stomach reading **** that little pricks come out with like that
Arteta, Wilshere and Cazorla is a solid and creative midfield. They are well suited to providing the delivery for quick attackers like Walcott, Podolski and Chamberlain to. Its Arsenals defense that lets them down.
They have £75 to spend apparently.
Out of there defense Vermaelen and Sagna are the only players with top 4 quality. But Vermaelen has a terible injury record. For £16-18m they could get Alderweireld and Sahko. That would make a strong, well balanced CB pairing that is good on the ball. Monreal is a decent LB who they signed in January, he must be injured.
In goal they lack experience. £15 for Begovic should do it. Maybe £18 as the season has already started.

I could manage Arsenal's transfers better.
Obviously I dont actually want Arsenal to get stronger and find there situation hilarious. But as a football fan it is also frustrating to watch.
