Besides, I was talking about Arsenal, not Wenger. Arsene clearly isn't what he was and I've repeatedly said that they won't make big signings until they change manager.

I doubt we'd do anything that foolish. We're far more interested in releasing as many players as possible without replacing them.

I do take the piss but I don't go to epic proportions to do it, I still to general pub type banter that both parties can see the funny side of rather than just my lonesome self behind a screen

Wenger's an unintentional comic genius, but Brenda is just a complete tool.
I think Wenger is addicted to the acclaim of buying cheap and making good on those cheap buys, the difference of years ago was that he had very good not so cheap players throughout the team that could accommodate the young potentials, now there are too many of those buys while the stars have all left.
Carzola will leave if you don't do anything this summer and next summer in the transfer market, if Arsenal were to lose CL football this coming season it means you end up in the same position we are in atm as far as signing players.
There are very good players out there that do not play Cl footy or are looking to move even if they are like Suarez for example, Wenger could have signed him before we did back then if he was willing to break from his addiction of getting players for 200k and turning them into 10million players. He's playing capitalism with arsenal ffs
