What happened to them last season effectively happened
to Spurs in 2011-12 and 2012-13 (though just for the
academic curiosity I would love to see them lot have the
equivalent of 2011-12 just to see how they deal with it) .
How did Spurs supporters deal with the above ??
Immense anger at the managers etc, but no delusion

In 2017 we won 13 out of our last 14 league games (that's in the last 5 years by my calculations).
What these morons are doing is a classic case of :
Begin with the answer you want, then work backwards
to get the question that yields that answer.
As I explained to them lot on their own board, their
best sequence of results last season got them N pts.
However over said period of results, Spurs got N + 2 pts
(coincidentally the pts gap at the end being 2 pts) .
I came across this cutting from a Goon programme in November 93, I played in this match for Girobank but even when reporting charity matches they are not entirely honest! Their ex-pro and celebrity team were winning most matches by a double figure margin so as we gave them a decent game that made up the fact that we had 5 Ashford Town players, we had 1 and he was 47, we had another ex-Ashford player who was playing for Margate at the time and everyone else played Saturday or Sunday league local (or in some cases no regular) football. We also complied with their request for us to start the match with 5 players over the age of 40. Which included the aforementioned Ashford player, and 4 men other 2 were very fit but had played very little football the other 2 loved football but were hugely unfit, their over 40s were 4 ex pro footballers and an ex pro Cricketer! Amongst the Celebs David Harewood was a good goalkeeper, but not as well known as an actor in 83 as he is now, Tony Hadley lead singer with Spandau Ballet was the biggest name, and was the most sort after signature amongst the fans (we sold out the ground), I was also happy to be able report that I mistimed at least 1 tackle on him, but he was a lovely bloke and by far the most generous in the bar after the game. Mark Burdis most famous for being in Grange Hill, Court, Sparrow and McDermott were expro and think Fennelly too, Roland Butcher Essex and England cricketer. Jason Rush was in Eastenders at the time, Jason Morgan, Sean McAuliffe & John Moriarty were I believe all Arsenal academy players, (one of them was very rapid).
