Maybe some of the others at AFTV weren't aware, but there's no chance in hell Robbie was 'unaware'. He and DT have both said on multiple occasions they've known each other well before AFTV was founded, and they're both from Luton. It's on public record that, since 2016, Liam Mark Goodenough (DT's real name) has been to trial at court 7 times. Robbie still had him on as a regular during this time frame. Robbie has been fully aware of DT's past, publicly vouched for him on many occasions that he's a 'good guy', yet is now trying to distance himself from DT because it will damage his brand and business if he admits otherwise. He's got no backbone whatsoever.
Just seen this thread, I was a bit late posting about DT on the rival thread then . Over the years people used to joke on Twitter that he’d go home and punch his missus after an Arsenal loss, I wonder now though if those jokes actually stemmed from a bit of truth?
Arteta was also out and about today talking about the postponement. The exact wording “we didn’t have the players necessary to compete in a Premier League match” is a complete get-out and I hope he was pressed on what that actually meant, because the club’s actions suggest it’s more that he just didn’t want to play the game with the players available.
Twatter speculation suggests that the Athletic story is about these two things: Firstly, £65k is placed on Xhaka getting a yellow card with 10 minutes remaining in the game. Roughly five minutes later he timewastes on a free-kick and gets booked:
IMHO "spot" betting (events will occur in fine time windows) should be illegal.I can tolerate it if a wager applies to a set period of time in the game, and can only be made before said period begins.
In a transfer that absolutely nobody had rumoured, Calum Chambers has joined Villa. I assume the filth are going to try to postpone their entire season, then?
