We deserved to go down and it's a long way back.

Gutted.

RTID.

I am in benidorm and sort of glad i missed the game.

Famous saying "the table never lies"

But changing manager with 8 games to and failing to buy a striker when you cant score also helps the position.

Then what about the ground.

I gather the players didnt come back out after the final whistle?

:)

Don't be to upset lads. You will come straight back up from the conference for sure <ok> I just wouldn't come on to the city board as we're having a jolly old time.

I don't keep a close an eye on League 2 as I used to and was staggered to see you guys in a 3 way fight for survival. It still seems not that long ago I was watching Bristol Rovers in division 2 (what is now the Championship), and putting up a pretty good fight of it.

It's never good to see a long serving league club fall through the trap door, so I hope you can bounce back soon <ok>

Sorry for you lot, but as has been said earlier, should have stuck with Ward till the seasons end. Good luck for promotion next year.

PS: Any chance we can have O'Toole back?

My sincere and honest ccommiserations

A dark day for Bristol football that already had nothing at all worth shouting about.

In terms of crowd behaviour we would have torn the stadium down completely

We're down amongst the dead men.....where all pirates end up!
Rubbish today, rubbish all season.....no-one should be surprised.
The effort was there, but if you ain't got the quality then in the end
it counts for nowt.
The only quality today came in flashes from Clarkson....the rest were
toiling away.
Stuff the
Unwanted
White
Elephant stadium
It may be a coincidence but City turned the corner when talk of Ashton Vale faded
and the option of developing Ashton Gate came to the forefront.
We've had dreams above our station....now the nightmare!

Sorry to see you relegated. You didn't deserve that. Great club, great fans. I was listening to the commentary after it was obvious Northampton weren't going to lose (which is what I was hoping for) and I had to go out of the room with 10 mins left as it seemed certain you would score and my head was throbbing with the tension. Your team through everything at Mansfield and how that ball didn't go into the net I'll never know.

I hope you are back next season. I'm sure we'll all be rooting for you.

All we needed was a goal, but of course we haven't been able to score all season. But we probably had one of the best home records of any team relegated from the League.Mad world...

Feel for the Rovers fans today, no way should they be a non-league club...as a die hard City fan, it brings no joy to me, that this long standing league club, have lost their status.

Sad day for Bristol football...hope your soon back with us lads.

SING Me Hearties!!

Oh, better far to live and die,
Under the brave black flag I fly.
Than play a sanctimonious part.
With a pirate head and a pirate heart,
Away to the cheating world go you,
Where pirates all are well-to-do.
But I'll be true to the song I sing,
And live and die a Pirate King.

For I am a Pirate King! And it is, it is a glorious thing! To be a Pirate King! For I am a Pirate King!...

(Gilbert and Sullivan)

You'll be back as champions next year lads.

Sorry guys...I'd like to say your come straight back up but sadly i'm a realistic lower league supporter and if my beloved Gills were in the same position i would say no chance. The conference i believe is tougher than league two, just look how long it took Luton but all the best guys.

A Sad day for the West Contry.. 2 local teams and 2 local derbies gone for next season.. i would not have minded if Excretia went down..

Good luck and hope to see both teams back soon...
