The last game would suggest different - he covered about twice as much ground as Luciano, twice as fast, was able to control the ball and pass it clinically and quick, battled hard, rarely fell over and didn't prevent fast breaks by going backwards. I love Becchio, but his failings are too many to mention at the moment and he needs a kick up the jacksy
Interesting comments Elmo. & some would like Paynter moved on. If your comments are to be believed, & I've no reason to doubt them, Paynter maybe staying for sometime yet. Beccs, on the other hand & despite being a fans favourite, might just have some competition for his place, even more so if/when Somma returns.
Bogger, you better believe Elmo's comments. I'm Paynter's harshest critic & I apologised to him on this board on the strength of that display. I did however mention in closing that one swallow doesn't make a summer!
Agree 100%. Hope we can see a bit more of Billy before the end of the season to see if he has turned a corner or did he just snort summat before the game?
