Thanks for this and all of the other comments. However I will say that yes it is only football but to me politics is more important as that dictates how either we run our lives or others run them for us and as such my principles will always put that above sport. There are not many times when they collide, this is one the other was South Africa and the exclusion of non-whites from sport. In both cases I felt I had to make a stand. However back to football and lets see how we line up on Sundat what changes will there be in the team. Will it be 442 if so where will Seess be and who will be in the middle as PCD teams need good strong hard running players, do we have these in midfield?
As fans of SAFC we have enough on our plate without having to worry about politics, the guy has said his piece, he's now in charge of our beloved team so lets get behind the bloke and hope his ability matches his mouth. Personally I never wanted him, not cos of his political beliefs or his end of game tunnel antics with players, cos I didn't think he was experienced enough to pull us out of the ****e we find ourselves in. I was misguidedly thinking that Ellis Short had some super manager waiting in the wings to come to us and turn us in to a great club. He didn't and we have PDC and I sincerely hope to **** that he proves me wrong. And you know what? I think he just might.
Not for the first time is a sheep shagging taff behind the times? PS - there is a clue in the post right above yours about how far behind you are simple lad.
