All the best for the future Teeside, exciting and wondrous time ahead, puts football into perspective.
Once upon a time there was a Mackem who even after getting married was still going to every match then out on the lash every night getting pissed and having the odd scuffle. Then his wife presented him with a beautiful baby daughter and his life changed for ever. His whole priority in life became his family. The wife then presented him with two sons and family was the be all and end all. He did instil in them his love of SAFC though. (Well apart from one son who has lapsed and now shows little interest in football, even though he lives with a beautiful lass the Mackem was worried he may be gay! ) After the Mackem's wife was taken from them far too young, the care and love shown to the children previously, was repaid in spades when they looked after HIM after their loss. I have regretted a lot of things in my life, my kids aren't one of them. Cherish them Tees mate, they grow up all too quickly. Don't forget there could be the odd sleepless night. When mine were young their was no internet or late night TV so I used to just sit there rocking them back to sleep. You will be able to come on and post whilst rocking them to ease your boredom.
I didn't include the free bed and breakfast supplied by the boys in blue. After my daughter was born, I never crossed their doors again.
The twats kicked **** out of me at Chester nick one time. Bastards, lol. Had a few towsings off them back in the good old 80's. South Yorkshire The Met West Midlands. Very friendly chaps back in Thatcher's day, lol.
Tee side All the best to you and your's from Pott's the Stoke fan.. ENJOY the two little fella's matie, my two girls are 28 and 25 they grow up so fast... Twins eh? Why not call them Danny & Arnie just a thought like..
After all you have gone through especially your lass it's time for you to relax and enjoy the precious moment when these two littlins come into the world. Be there for your lass and look forward to all the years of joy happiness heartache and precious moments they will bring into your life. My identical twins are 25 in early November (be ironic if your two are born on the same day) and after problems in early life they are healthy happy and contented and I couldn't have wished for anything more. So onwards and upwards and good luck to you all
Thankyou all very much for the kind words. The best chance I'll get to contribute on here is via mobile at work. Ill keep you posted on the boys. We're going in to have them on the 8th Nov. I've already spent a small fortune on SAFC clothing and gear for them!
Good luck fella, i know what you mean about the coin......it's easy to do.. I still have gear sent over to me from the club store, even though i know it's gonna cost a packet, due to postage.. But they are worth it....cherish it mate....
