Watched up until about 12:45 ish But the funniest comment was the bit they said in the Swindon Advertiser "Motörhead concert in doubt, due to the death of Lemmy" I went to their site and searched Lemmy and its there! But they changed the wording in the link. And we take the piss out of the EP Great stories, his son Pauls was really moving and had humour. I missed the name of the Jadas Priest speaker was it Rob Halford? Bet the Rainbow Bar and Grill now becomes a visiting site going forward now
Scrap that last comment, when you read the Wiki for the bar you can see it's already massively famous even to the extent that your favourite Angelic is named after it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_Bar_and_Grill
Who would have thought the Swindon Advertiser would ever be heard outside of Swindle !?? Yes, the Judas Priest singer is now Rob Halford. I forget who the original guy was from the Breaking The Law era. The Rainbow has been a watering hole for the rich and famous for decades, along with The Roxy and the Whisky A Go-Go all of which are apparently within a stones throw of each other. You can see a little footage of The Rainbow in the Guns n' Roses video for the track November Rain. As the legend goes, the Rainbow owner had a plaque on a bar seat advising people it was Lemmy's and was reserved for him while he played his Poker video machine at the bar. How cool is that ? I though the service for Lemmy was both touching and funny and they did a good job of providing a fitting send off for him, Having been out in Bedminster during the day I decided to drink Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey during the service and yesterday I suffered the worst hangover I've had for many many years, Lemmy would have approved I'm sure, although he always stated, and correctly so, that to get a hangover, you have to stop drinking first !
They are not one of my favourite bands tbh and I don't know very much about them. All I had heard is that Rob Halford isn't the original singer...
