that's it really sort of feel like a member of the family that no one really knew has died
(you don't know why but you feel somethings changed)

shame to think that his last kick for Cardiff was an own goal
Good luck to him did some great Work for us

A disappointing way to end but should be looked upon as someone with more in the positive column than the negative. Split opinion on a number of occasions but showed character incoming out the other side. Him and Conolley could have been a good pairing so Manga and Morrison will have to go some to win people over given the price tags.

I see Cala has tweeted he's staying.

Wish him all the best. Great pro and leader. Sad to see him go.

Agree with all the previous comments.

A great servant to the club who will be fondly remembered.

Now moving on to team up with Gerrard again.

BBC says Gabbidon signed back with us.

There are very few players that pull on the heart strings when they leave, Hudson is one of them as ccfc said it's like you've lost a member of the family.

Not felt like this since we lost Cav.

Cheers mate, thanks for your time at Cardiff, best of luck in your new endeavours, you will be missed.

A gentleman player whose captaincy in our promotion season was a major factor in our success that year.

He certainly suffered in his early days with the club, and there are quite a few on here including me who thought he was far too slow in the job at the time. He turned that around under Mackay and was inspirational at the back encouraging those around him.

Things change and maybe it was time for him to go, but it's still a wrench to see such a past influential player leave the club. The best of luck to him at Huddersfield where he could well have a massive influence on their fortunes this season.

Showed he still has lots to offer in first couple of games this season....Huds & Connolly looked our best CB pairing so far.

Wonder what Mark meant in that last sentence.....

Possibly the way he was "forced" out or more likely the fact that his last kick for the side was an own goal.

He proved in a structured defensively set side he's a huge asset. In a more expansive style that could often see him having to defend open spaces and manage 1 on 1 situations till help arrives he'll struggle. Morrison and the new bloke are apparently much more mobile.

He always gave 100% and it's not very often a Championship centre back will have the title of 'scored one of the best goals I've ever seen live'. If Rooney or Suarez had scored that 60 yarder it would still be being broadcast worldwide now.

He always gave 100% and was probably our best player in our promotion season. He deserves better than being 4th or 5th choice at our club so good luck to him.

sad to lose hudson, even though he wouldn't have played every week i would still have kept him……..<ok>

What I loved about Hudson was his heart. Although he was a bit on the slow side, and started nervously, he gave everything. Last season, there was only support for his team mates; no resentment, no bitterness, nothing. He can go with his head held high. Good luck.

Any clearer Spark? :D

Never the most gifted City player but a worker, leader and gentleman. Good luck to him.
