No chance.

Really..? I know, it's a cracking username, but you must feel a little disenchanted about the players who have left. I find it ever-so-slightly difficult to disassociate Rickie with the rest of them, and Rickie is the first player who got me to shed tears after MLT, so you have some idea of how much I thought of him.

You wait for when Liverpool score, while Rickie is on the pitch and everybody hugs each other. Especially if it's against Saints. What's the betting you won't feel so good about it then. :)

Nah. Rickie is the hero of my generation. He was the name on my shirt when we were in L1 and I was 12 or so, and he was on my Prem shirt when I was 16.

Pretty much a hero for me, watching Saints between those ages - when I really started to get into football.

I disassociate him from the rest because he was always a great bloke, as well as a great player and talisman for Saints.

I want to single him out but he's gone and it's too much effort. I will always think well of him, I believe, but he's no longer up there with MLT. Even Micky Channon doesn't do it because he transferred to seemingly better things. OK, he saw the light and returned, but MLT is still the one. And Micky agrees. :)

I don't mind about this one. I won't be surprised if he was told that Clyne would be first choice this season.

At least we have another quality player in his position.

This deal was sorted a long time ago. I called it in March, even if the figure was out. Was told then that the deal was already organised and good to go. Don't know why the wait, though: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/250899-Summer-2014-Transfer-rumour-thread?p=6288222#post6288222

Well we are getting more now? You said 10m , so the board got 6m more.

Also notice how 2 players were leaving(rumoured etc) happened in march.
Chambers
Shaw

Same time Pochettino was seen talking to Jay etc.

Your somewhat facetious response 2 posts below greavsie's post is starting to look more prophetic than barbed now. You'll probably be upset to hear that.

What age are you??

I'm just surprised, I can do the math mate, thanks though. Thought aul DTLW was older. I remember when I started really getting into Southampton James Beattie was in his pomp and has remained my favourite Saints player to this day. Lambert is a legend, still delighted for him.

I know, just being a little ****. As was Dan evidently. Glad I got there first though :)

so does anyone hate calum now? In terms of bitterness, I'd say it goes lovren, lallana, pochettino, shaw, chambers, lambert

edit, forgot pochettino
