Good to see the start of the season has brought some rational conversation

There seems to be loads of Mags like the above predicting a victory, while Sundeland fans on the whole seem to be very reserved in their predictions...This will just make it all the sweeter if we do manage to win.

to be honest, its the sunderland fans in the main who have spent all summer laughing at how **** we are and how easily they are going to beat us.

I think you'll find the overwhelming majority of sunderland fans learnt the lesson of Halloween and haven't at all been suggesting you'll be easy to beat. We're hoping for a win, but definitely aren't shouting it from the rooftops.

Personally, I'm going to predict a 3-0 SAFC win. Mainly because I'm not on here enough to worry about the backlash afterwards

Realistically, something tells me a high-tension low-quality 2-1 win to us, or 1-1 draw.

 

strangely enouugh im not sad enough to go through the effort of trawling your board for a quote, as it happens i actually posted a thread on your board a while ago warning you against being over confident because of last halloween, and i got a barrage of "weve improved and yous have got worse" and a ****load of other stuff about how clear your victory would be...
