Good Times Ahead....?

A good day to be a Rovers' fan. South Glos give the go-ahead for the new ground
by 12 to 1. That makes it harder for Bristol to stand in the way. They are already
perceived as lacking vision; and to obstruct the development of the Memorial Stadium
would just confirm that impression.
Then a most pleasant 'Open Evening'. Players were relaxed and approachable. I picked
up a few snippets..................
Pre-season training under MM is more intense and demanding than under *uckle
For the Frome and WSM games this Saturday the squad will be split evenly....Harrold at Frome
and Virgo (who hopes to play 45 mins) at WSM.
Muzzy was there....happily signing autographs
Fabio (the German) was there too, signing.
Hunter's mates were openly jesting and calling him the next Muzzy!
Pitch looks brilliant!
Oh....the optimism of pre-season!!

However, if Clarkson signs (looking possible) and we either get decent cash for Muzzy and replace him with someone decent, then there is no reason not to be optimistic for this season.

Why are you so obsessed with us? I took a short trip over to the Shrews board (for the 2nd ever time) and many of your posts over there reference the Gas - I find it quite strange that an elderly Shrewsbury supporter such as yourself should be so completely absorbed with all things Rovers? It's just plain weird.
