He's got a point. We played Reading in a 0-0 three weeks ago and I argued then that an away point against fellow strugglers is a good result. However I would ad this: When you are substantially adrift of safety your prime concern is getting back in touch with the pack and single points don't do that because fellow strugglers tend to average a point a game anyway. We had this with people arguing for clean sheets,OK they are good but unless you score yourselves no use at all in moving you up the table. Your Villa game is crucial and represents your best chance of staying in touch.I rate 'arry but as has been pointed out he's not God.You have to ditch Cisse his attitude will destroy you.Rest easy though 'arry will know that.
can't be included in the squad before jan... i just can't understand this "we didn't look like scoring" stuff. Mackie again 1 on 1 with keeper, should have buried it. SWP had a good chance in the end, even if Graneros pass came a bit too late. He would have been 1 on 1 with keeper if Granero just had passed the ball through the defenders earlier. just a little bit of quality to the last pass and finishing and we'll be alright.
And for all the Cisse bashing, in last nights game he was once again left all alone in the attack, whenever he got the ball up front, the midfield 3 was 30 meters behind him, close to the half way line, and he had 2 or 3 defenders to beat. The gap between Cisse and the supporting midfielders can not be that big, have to get them up faster.
That's part of the syndrome isn't it? I am sure that when you are in the position that QPR the psychological pressure mounts on everyone and affects the players when they are in a position to score. It's like a striker's goal drought.
