just watched birm v bolton, and got to thinking about what a waste the talents of kevin davies has been, i really rate this player and if he had been younger would have been ideal with gyan. unfortunately time is not on his side now and the chance to play for a top club have gone (no offence bolton)
anyone think off anyone else who should have gone onto bigger and better things?
matt le tissier is another, but kevin davies sticks out for me

Always thought that David Bellion did not reach his full potential in the PL.
I really thought he could have gone all the way. Not really sure if I blame him for his part of the manu saga, just thought he was blinded by the flashing lights.

its amazing how man u years ago released forlan as he is brillaint now
that was a massive mistake by them and it is funny to c them mess up like that
hope u have a good season
gyan is brilliant n i believe that he will become one of the best players in the premiership

Most of the current or recent Man City squad. I think Milner is a fantastic player but he hasn't been anywhere near as good as he can be this season. Johnson is wasted there too. Shay Given is one of the best goalkeeper's in the premiership IMO and he's there rotting on the bench. Then your decent premiership players such as Santa Cruz and Bridge have lost all confidence and Bridge has looked very suspect for West Ham at times.

No player in there right mind unless had the choice of Real Madrid, Barcelona would turn down Man United. I also liked Bellion while he was with us I loved seeing the lad play, he was lightning quick.

Also another name

Matt Piper, I can remember the game we drew Man United when Keane got sent off and Flo scored, I thought he had an exciting player on our hands when I watched Piper play that day just a shame his career was ruined by injuries because IMO that lad had something about him

Was there myself mate. a draw against manu, Keane set off and wait for it ........... Flo scoring and all in one game. you could have not made it up.

Kevin Phillips never got 90 minutes for his country - an absolute travesty of justice. And Darren Bent - love him or hate him, he DOES score goals - very nearly went the same way.

SKP was and still is a great player, I don't think the bent boy is anywhere as good and doubt he will ever be
