Not how it works. Bates was LUFC at the time, he sold responsibility and liability to GFH and they passed 75% of it to Cellino. That's what due diligence finds out, and why he can't moan having done none.

Bates sold LUFC for a price that included GFH assuming any liabilities the company had at the time ownership changed hands. Gfh could have said no and this would have either increased the sale price or killed the deal.

Gfh did the same for 75% of the company and its liabilities when idiot features took a controlling stake. It was down to gfh and then Cellino to undertake due diligence. It is Ken bates we are talking about after all.

We are where we are and Cellino is running the club like a complete amateur. How much more **** is he going to bring to our door?
