My son was due March 18th but he decided he didn't want to miss the derby so made a surprise appearance in the early hours of this morning 03:16 weighing 7lb 1.
First leap year baby born in Sunderland today. His first game in utero was the derby at the sol at the start of this season and now his first game will be the derby this Sunday.
We now have an extra fan willing us on, future Sunderland captain Ethan Parker :-)

Congrats to you and your lass parker, and well done the medical staff for making sure he was born without problems (this often goes unnoticed). Welcome aboard Ethan

All the very best mate, hope the wife and baby are both well and get yersell down the club shop pronto, Ethan will be needing his colours.

Congratulations to the Parker family and let's hope baby Ethan's early arrival is a good omen for the weekend.

March 1st will be his birthday on non leap years. Hoping he brings us look this Sunday

I thought you'd be saving money on presents by only letting him have a birthday every 4 years :)

All the best mate - Congratulations to you and the family. (Do what I did with my Daughter - carried her out of hospital in a Sunderland dress wrapped in my Sunderland shirt as a mini blanket!
