I thought I remembered someone on some other thread saying it was an "apparently reliable" twitter source but I might be wrong. Can't remember who it was.

Anyway - something being on twitter doesn't necessarily make it false. It's just, y'know, I take it all with a massive pinch of salt. Quite sceptical at the best of times and during the off-season (when, despite there being absolutely zero football, there's still hundreds of pages of "news" about every single club) I assume 95% of what I hear is likely to have very little truth to it. It literally makes no difference to me which is why I'd never end up worrying about someone's career because a chronic injury that's never been mentioned by anyone other than someone I read on a forum.

But of course stuff does turn out to be true 5% or so of the time. So let's hope it's not one of those times.

Who/what was your source, by the way? And why do you trust them? I know there are good ones out there but never bother to remember who they are and why someone said they were trustworthy.
