Or Bendtner and anyone mate - he shouldn't be playing full stop imo! A lot of people said "without bent we'd have been relegated." Well without Ba you'd probably be close to bottom as he has scored a higher % of your goals than Bent did ours! Been a great signing and one I think would've saved Bruces job had he taken the risk..

    Totally agree.

We should indeed have got him when he went West Ham.

Depends. Because Ba is in such good form, most of our players seem to just be giving the ball to him, as it seems more likely that he's going to turn it into a goal.

Without him there, another striker will take his place (we don't just go down to 10 men) and other players won't be so obliged to give the ball to him either, and may take a punt themselves.

For those reasons, I think the striker who takes his place may make up at least half of the goals Ba would usually score, and as long as a few other players chip in (especially HBA), we may only be a couple of goals behind what Ba would have if he was here. That might mean we end up dropping a point or three, but that's just how it goes. It's certainly nothing major.

Really, over a month, even in the very unlikely situation where Ba scores a brace in every single game, that would only be 8 goals. I think the new striker in his place, along with Ben Arfa and the rest of the team, can fill in enough - especially when in reality, that total of 8 is likely to be severely overestimated.

Not sure if that's a bite, but any excuse to post that exquisite goal.

I dont think the Mags will have many problems, a team is not one or two players, Im sure Ameobi can score a few, and the mags defence although not the best in the world, they dont leak many goals, and of course mister Krull, he is a solid goaly, so dont think the mags will miss BA too much.
