Aye badge my cocks just re-emerged :)

Fooking freezing not helped by the piss poor display and the knob head fans singing Bates out all the time! I understand that hes pissing everyone off but at the end of the day it doesnt do the players any good!!!

21k is a poor show and we are miles down on the average last season even though we are playing miles better football.

The new east stand upper was a waste of time! cant believe people payed 30 quid to sit up there (around 100 of them) when there was loads of space left closer to the pitch!!!

On a funny note tho my mate went on the pitch at half time to do that you bet you score challenge and he missed from the penalty spot hahaha

The chants help our fans not look like weaklings who are willing to be ****ed by this moron Bates. And with respect, do they hell affect the players on the pitch. As if hearing 'Bates out' makes them more inclined to play badly - any chant from the stands is worth singing with the flat atmospheres we usually have. If you were on the field and heard fans singing songs against Bates would you start losing your focus or something? I just don't think that argument makes any sense.

So I'm a nobhead, a moron, a sickpot and a dissident now? Thanks.

A lot of the people who are anti-Bates and very vocal with it seem to think Grayson is a good manager who helped us overachieve.

If we're overachieving then what exactly is their problem with Ken Bates?

Because without him, our current position would be classed as underachieving, not overachieving.

But if he's appointed such a good manager, how is he holding us back?

By refusing to give the manager enough to spend in the transfer market. By selling Fabian Delph. By eradicating the intimidating atmosphere from Elland Road. By consistently failing to take contract negotiations seriously. You're as anti-Bates as I am Clivetime, drop the tedious wind-up act for a second and think about the question you actually just asked.

For what its worth I dont like Bates and would much prefer him not to be at the helm but he is showing that we dont need investment because he trust Grayson to get the best out of the players he has, I just dont think Booing Bates helps anything and splits our fans! we should support the players and ignore Bates!

I tried supporting the players last night and all but two or three people around me ignored my songs. People can't be arsed to support the team any more. And I disagree that we don't need investment. We need to rebuy Thorp Arch and Elland Road. We need to fund this **** East Stand plan. We need more leaders on the pitch. None of that can be funded out of Bates' pocket, and as much as I hate to say it, I think we're going to screw up our promotion chances again this season due to a lack of gritty players brought in. The only thing Bates is doing right is trusting Grayson like you say and not overspending. But then again, that's basic stuff which any competent chairman would do, except they'd actually allow us to make some ambitious transfers and wouldn't **** our money down the drainpipe and slander our fans

If that doesn't deserve a negative reaction, I don't know what does. The world can't be allowed to think that everything is rosy at Elland Road with Bates in charge, and it's our job as the supporters to support the club by trying to attract attention to the fact that this tit is ruining many things about our club.

I'm just playing devil's advocate, although you may see it as devil's arsehole. :)

My issue with Bates is that he is continuing to employ the worst manager in the history of football and that is holding our club back.

I just don't see how being anti-Bates and pro-Grayson equates.

So you don't see the fact that he's wasted millions of pounds of our money as an issue?

You don't see Thorp Arch or Elland Road or the lies and insults as an issue? Or the multiple other ****ish things that he's done since joining. The only thing you have a problem with is that an underfunded manager who's kept us moving forward every season and shaped a decent team is at the club? Maybe the devil's advocate hasn't been paying much attention or has a very short-term memory of Bates' tenure if that's the only issue that he, as a genuine Leeds fan, has with Bates.

I've explained the link between anti-Bates and pro-Grayson. Bates is running the club in a **** way. Despite that and in the face of the **** money he's given, Grayson has still pushed Leeds closer and closer to the Premiership. Imagine what he could do if we had a competent board of directors.

It wasn't Ken Bates who sold Thorp Arch and Elland Road in the first place, though.

You could put up with all the Ken Bates nonsense if it meant we had a Premier League club to support again. But then all the other things are part of what makes him the man who appointed Grayson and sticks by him.

A competent board would appoint a competent manager.

I know Bates didn't sell them, but it was him who promised to buy them back and failed on both counts, while millions upon millions of pounds were vanishing in the meantime. The rest of your stuff about Grayson is going round in circles as usual and will get us nowhere.
