I have profound apologies to make to all.......Saturday went to weekend 'Sports Themed' Stag do in Bristol......tok in Ten Pin Bowling, Pool & Darts Tournament and (whisper it)...trip to Ashton Gate for Bristol C v Ipswich. Is this behaviour forgivable?
Only if you continually and loudly chanted nice things about Cardiff City whilst performing the Ayatollah. That being the case how was Sunday at Frenchay Hospital?
Bit difficult disguising your Welsh Accent for two hours & keeping your cool when your surrounded by fifty or so people singing 'Always **** on the Welsh side of the bridge' Quite enjoyed the game actually...if you don't mind 'hoof & hope' type football from both sides. And nowhere near the standard I'm used to seeing, obviously. Nice touch from Chopra, ...he was having a 'kick-about' at half time a couple of yards from where I was sitting..I shouted to him & did a sly (& quick) Ayatollah....he didn't respond but gave me a wink & a huge grin.
