Nah, its just that negativity is a virus and a bad one at that. A few people get negative and then everyone starts to become negative because everything doesn't ever go exactly as you'd like. In this instance, imo there is nothing to be truly negative about. Becchio, who is our current top earner, wants MORE money and we aren't willing to give it to him (for right reasons really, he's not that good) and so he hands in a transfer request. He says he really wants to stay at the club, but realistically he is asking for more money. Because of the hostile state of the fans, they are more likely to believe Becchio than the club however so everyone turns on GFH without them having the opportunity to do anything. Everyone is already saying the money won't be reinvested and he hasn't even been sold yet, but this is actually the first time we are going to sell a player under GFH so no one actually knows anything about how that money will be used. If Becchio gets sold and replaced with say someone worth 1m, and then we spend the rest on a winger. I will be more than happy with how it panned out
Josh, has it not occurred to you that we've spent practically zilch in this window? If there were players available for £1m, surely we'd have bought them by now? Unless, of course, GFH's view of making transfer window money available is more in the £1-200k range? They have wasted over 3 weeks so far with no tangible improvement. What makes you so confident we'll be able to do it in the last week?
