Dont paticuarly like your lot but dislike Chelsea more and would love to see them miss out. Bookies have them as clear favourites but I think it will be closer,

Can you win?

Predicted team?

You need Lennon and Defoe, not bloody Adebayor

Lennon is about 75% fit so hard call whether to start or not.

Apparantly Dembele is out so big blow for us.

We CAN win it but everyone will need to be on top form. If we give a performance like that of the Southampton game, Chelsea will run all over us.

Can we win? Of course :D We've beaten the other 3 members of what some expect to be the top 4 every season so there'd be no better way to get ourselves back into the top 4 than beating the last one.

I think AVB knows we can't lose this so I don't think anyone will be getting rested as a precaution so if Lennon can run and Dembele too then they'll start. I'm hoping to see:

Lloris
Walker, Dawson, Caulker, Vertonghen
Dembele, Holtby, Parker
Lennon, Defoe/Ade, Bale

Chelsea are always strong at setpieces so having Caulker play I think will help us out with that, ahead of that I think we've got to have a high energy midfield. As much as I think Huddlestone's passing would suit how we'll need to be attacking tonight I think he might be more valuable to us as a weapon to come off the bench and change the game if needed. Lennon and Bale can swap, infact I wouldn't be surprised to see Bale on the right getting at Cole who looked leggy against United. Defoe and Ade's a tough one, Defoe's better off the bench for us, I feel and Ade could add some much needed height for us yet I think this could be a game for Defoe with pace on the wings and his ability to drop out wide and let Bale move into the middle too. At the same time I would not be surprised if the team we field is nothing like that, they're fairly drastic changes.

We tend to jinx ourselves though when players/ manager talk to press. Whenever a "really up for this game" or "want revenge" sort of statement from one our lads is released, they usually have a stinker. Hopefully Bale will back his words up tonight though, we'll need him too that's for sure.
We broke our hoodoo at Old Trafford this season, would love nothing more than to do the same at Stamford Bridge.

That's wishful thinking. And now you've unsettled Everton, you've pretty much guaranteed us a CL spot. Cheers <ok>

?
Everton have nothing to do with you and guarenteed CL. It only takes Arse and Spurs to finish above you to scupper it, no Everton required

They have everything to do with it. We need 2 wins and we are guaranteed CL. 3rd is not in yours or Arsenal's hands. You will need us to slip up elsewhere and Everton probably are a better bet to do that than Villa. If Everton aren't up for it or are unfocused that's virtually guaranteeing top 4 for us.

No they have nothing to do with it.
If Everton lose all remaining games but beat you you can still miss out on top 4. Sorry, that is the truth.

Edit - in fact, a draw against you would be fine. Also, if they lose to you that only guarentees you 71 points which both Spurs and Arsenal could still surpass

Everton lose their remaining games then we only need 1 win from Spurs and Villa, and that's assuming Spurs and Arsenal win both their remaining games.

A victory against either of those is far from a certainty.

Spurs have more to do with your top 4 hopes than everton. Beat Spurs and you are there, simple. Only a miracle goal diff turn around would be in the way.
So saying Everton have everything to do with it is utterly ridiculous

Lloris
Walker, Vertonghen, Dawson/Caulker, Beni
Carroll, Holtby, Parker
Gylfi, Ade/Defoe, Bale

I've seen a few different predictions of Carroll, Holtby, Parker. Given Dembele's out, and Huddeletone's too slow to start (though likely to come on later), it seems like a good choice, with a good mix of abilities. But starting an untested middle three with a very untested Carroll in the biggest game of the year brings my heart to my throat.

Please beat Chelsea their fans think they know everything about Football, when they haven't a clue and post **** on everyone elses board, proper bitter chavs. COYS Put Chavvy Land back into 5th Place they know ****-all. :emoticon-0116-evilg
