Full time, that'll do nicely, despite the hand ball.

Full time, 1-0 City. Pretty decent game. 1-0 was probably a fair result, we looked the better side, but Forest didn't deserve a hiding either.

The only annoying thing in the game was the small pocket of Forest fans who started chanting 'off, off, off' every time a free kick was given against one of our players

The youth team is slowly churning out some promising players. I remember for years we used to bang on about our facilities and coaching staff, but we never produced anyone really well not since the early 90's for that matter, plenty of league two standard players for a then Championship standard club. It's really positive to see we're bringing some players through the ranks the Murphy's look the closest to breaking through but that Loza lad showed a lot of promise too.

thought that Ben Wyatt was exceptional and Cameron Morris not far behind. the twins need to learn awareness and passing at the right time, but their ball skill is top notch for their age. thoroughly entertaining match.

Hometurf unfortunately and you can guarantee the pocket of fans are likely to be the Forest players family and close friends, fortunately the game wasn't badly tempered from what I saw and heard.

Let's get as many people as possible down to Carrow Road next Wednesday for the second leg.
Free for STH and super-members, £2 for everyone else. <ok>

I remember a reserve match against Arsenal a few years ago, (I'm pretty sure the Jarrold was open?) and over 4,500 attended. What I don't remember is who the "must see" player was?
Can anyone help me out...please :emoticon-0111-blush

Cromer - if my memory serves me right, we won 4-2 and the star for me that night was a young Arsenal player by the name of Jack Wilshire. Can't remember if any Canaries players stood out, but it was a team effort. <cheers>

One thing that nobody has mentioned about the game last night is that there was no diving, no trying to con the ref, no arguing with the ref and I only saw one foul that could have been construed as 'professional' <ok>

Having said that, we all know that if and when these lads make the first team they will soon learn the dark arts as it's a case of 'if you can't beat 'em join 'em' <doh>

having checked my recording of the match, the ball did hit Hall-Js arm after he headed it, BUT as he was on the line when heading the ball, and his arm was extended in front of him, the ball must have already crossed the line before striking his arm. therefore this was a totally legitimate goal.
