Maybe it’s the nature of rivalry but it does seem that whenever City’s fortunes fall the fortunes of both RL clubs are rising once again. We don’t know yet whether our 10 year ascendency is over and we’ll regress to a rugby town but as Chris Plumpton’s ‘****y City’ tweet indicates in the hastily closed thread the enemy within are falling back out the trojan woodwork to gleefully mock our club.
Ill advised as that 'Hull ****ty' tweet was, he is actually a City fan and that tweet was posted immediately after a 5-0 drubbing.
