In other news, I might be clutching at straws here, but I see Liverpool have only won once at St Mary's. And you're overdue a poor performance, while we're due a good one.

Well we had Joe Cole - who was apparently better than Messi <doh>

We're on a good run, and I don't see it ending tomorrow. We've scored more goals than any PL team since the turn of the year - scoring for fun.

gotta try and enjoy the occasion. it games like this that are the whole point of being in the top flight.

I've put my ticket in my bag...one step at a time....trying to be positive as you never know where points can come from, but everyone else (apart from Reading) have matches they can win and Wigan have a game in hand and it's raining and we have two tough games and Pompey fans are waiting to laugh and my washing machine has broken<wah>

Toughen up Fran. Washing machines can be repaired or replaced, the rain will stop, Pompey fans pretend to laugh but inside they are eaten up with envy, Wigan will come unstuck sometime and they have the distraction of the cup which you'll remember cost us the First Division Champions spot years ago, games in hand are not points in the bag, it is wet and it is windy which often turns a game into a lottery so we will have as much chance as Liverpool of getting something from this game. Normally I would say keep your pecker up but you're a lady and I don't know what your supposed to keep up!


On a different tack have you noticed the spell check facility on this site? I hope it corrects grammar as well as I can't stand "should/would/could of etc.".

Finally a Liverpool fan went to see the new Pope who was holding a hands on session to help heal people. He said to the Liverpool fan "Step forward young man and tell me you problem". The Liverpool fan stepped forward and said "Its my hearing your Holiness." The Pope immediately placed his gentle hands on the young mans ears and said a few quick prayers and then asked him if that had solved the problem. "No sir" said the Liverpool fan "My hearing is still set for next Tuesday".
