+1, Our strikers haven't actually missed many sitters TBH, we just create barely any scoring opportunities per game due to Bruce's awful and predictable tactics

Not only did he score, but he made the 4th with the header from a long throw in. He is quick, but probably not strong enough for the Championship.

He might actually be a good player, it's not like we know having seen him play 34 minutes one week and another 16 minutes 2 weeks later.

Why did Mrs Doubtfire blow 10m on him if he's not going to stick with him for a run of games?

The last goal I can remember clearly (there might have been others) was N'doye against Palace.

Hernandez isn't a goalscorer, he hasn't been anywhere he's played. He is a good player, we haven't got the most out of him and he must be so frustrated having the ball crossed from wide all the time. I rate him as a player, but my outlook wasn't as expecting as everybody else, partly because I'd seen him play before, but partly because I understand that some players need a decent supply and not every player can create something out of nothing.

I really think Bruce just cannot manage strikers very well, oh and maybe midfielders, oh and maybe goalkeepers too. Not bad with defenders though.

Aside from releasing the two that would serve us well in the Championship, that is.

Yes, I know Madge, but it doesn't alter the fact that so-called 'strikers' like Altidore were banging 'em in for the US of A against El Salvidor and the likes but couldn't match it at the highest level of league football. Many blame our midfield because they aren't 'laying the ball on' for the strikers. I have seen many times this season some brilliant through balls being brilliantly intercepted at the last second by equally brilliant defenders. The Premier League is a 'class' league and strikers have to have 'something else' besides having the ball laid on for them. Give the ball to Jelly and he will put it away (his goal against Newcastle (I think) was outstanding) but don't you think opposition Managers and players knew this and marked him out of the game. Elmo and Brady were both well covered and just cast your mind back at the absolute 'sitters' we missed last season.
This has, without doubt, been the most unluckiest season regarding results and injuries that I have ever witnessed in my nearly 70 years of support.
I hope we can maintain most of our current team and show our @rses to the rest of the Championship by heading straight back to the Premier League.
