Went up to Withernsea today. Got a patty, chips & Mushy peas for me tea. Didn't get any bread & butter though, which would've been better, but got a cuppa tea instead. Generally ok.

My Dad changed Hull, I have written and deleted this post loads of times, it's still too hard to post much of what I wrote, but here's one bit that may be of interest. I was asked to repossess Boothferry Park, it was a job allocated to me even though I live so far away, I rang me Dad, I explained to him what I had been asked to do and what he thought I should do. I told him the background and he said do you want to do it. Well Dad, I will earn a months wages in one night, so money wise, yes. His answer **** the money, I don't want my son to Be the one that shut down Hull City. So I stayed at home.
There's are hundreds of good American brews. The craft beer revolution has been phenomenal there. More than 30 brewpubs & micros in Portland alone. Coors and Bud are not two of them and besides the stuff is England is brewed locally under license. Bud is brewed with RICE ffs. When was rice ever an ingredient for beer?
Theres a funny moment in Breaking Bad when Hank thinks he is under attack and its really his badly bottled beers exploding. They started selling American chocolate in the local supermarket (Hersheys?) and its bloody shocking, hope the beers are better!
Which chippy did you go to? I used to go to lifeboat everytime I was home, but its not anywhere near as good as it was 18 months ago now
