Tried those meat alternatives as buy them in for vegetarian granddaughter when she comes and wants a meal. Can eat them but can certainly tell the difference.

There’s many different levels of quality of them.

If you can survive Cave Street you should be able to cope with anything.

Why would a vegetarian want to eat fake meat?

Some of us are heading to Sunderland on Good Friday, so the chance of me getting fish and chips will be very slim, and the chance of getting haddock, will be slimmer.

As there's presently a shortage of vegetables I'm sticking with the meat alternative. :emoticon-0100-smile

I’ve answered this before (even though I don’t particularly)
Some vegans (and vegetarians) like the taste and texture of meat, but they just don’t like killing animals.
So for them, they eat fake meat because they like the taste. Simple as that

Also who the bloody hell thought 'my beers a bit cloudy...I wonder if putting fish in it might help...actually not the whole fish...maybe just parts of it's swim bladder...yep that does it, that will probably still be getting done in hundreds of years time'

And who went 'well Kevin's just died an agonizing death after eating that fish, but perhaps if I cut that bit off and then this bit off then smother the rest of it in soy sauce it'll probably be ok'?

Does that mean vegans can’t drink beer with the wrong sort of finings? Are there warning labels?

Yes it does mean that, and no there aren't
Same with egg in wine (although that is more often labelled)

I spend a lot of time on google checking wine bottle labels! (occasionally beer, but I find them easier to remember so know most already)
