    Correct - "We've got a Jurgen, We've got a Jurgen, you ain't, you ain't" after the departure of a certain Mr Klinsmann.

    Jürgen is now head coach of a club in Carmel, Indianapolis, overseeing all these kids teams, especially girls teams, where it’s big business - college scholarships available for good players. My boss helps out with one of his 4 daughters teams, says Jürgen is a good bloke. He (my boss) has no idea what the game is about and so doesn’t comment on his quality as a coach, but says he is very good at keeping pushy parents in their place.

    Of course this was all pre pandemic.

    Embarrassingly the first name that came to mind was Ross Weare. I need more hobbies.

    Remember him coming on in the game against West Ham when we were first relegated from the Prem. Think that was as good as it got for him.

    Really promising player IIRC who we couldn’t afford to give games to trigger a better contract.

    Two legends of the club, bit before my time but two of my pals are named after this pair, including the one who works for the club!

    We've been blessed with some excellent right backs/wing backs over the years, here's one of my favourites;

    Great combination. Bardsley and ‘Dennis The Menace’ kit. Two classics.

    There’s a former Liverpool player of the same name.
